Marilyn Munker, MS, CCC-SLP received her Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology in 2000 from the University of Nevada, Reno. Marilyn has extensive experience helping adults and children with a wide range of speech and language impairments.
Sweet Talkers Speech Therapy for Children, PLLC was founded in November 2014 to address the growing need of efficacious speech therapy using an individualistic approach. Marilyn values each and every child as if they were her own. She understands the importance of providing quality, evidence-based treatment for her clients to be successful now and throughout their entire life.
Marilyn is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed to practice by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Pathology, the Nevada Department of Education for Educational Personnel, The Arizona department of health services for Speech-Language Pathology, the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, and the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
Marilyn has achieved ASHA's Award for Continuing Education (ACE) for her dedication to professional development. She is a member of the Nevada Speech-Language Hearing Association and volunteers as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
Marilyn is passionate about the children she works with and makes each therapy session motivating and engaging. Marilyn enjoys working with children ages 3-18 with a variety of needs including:

Eddie Spaghetti, D.O.G., Speech Assistant, has enjoyed working with children of all ages in telepractice since 2011. He earned the Sweet Talkers "Paws on the Catwalk" award in 2014 for sharpest dressed speech assistant. Eddie's hobbies include playing the piano, searching for hidden treats, giving "High Fives", and doing other fun tricks to make people smile.
Eddie specializes in making therapy fun for children while they use their newly learned speech and language skills in a relaxed, safe environment.
